Natsagdorj.D, Honorary Medical Doctor, Khamba Lama is appointed as “Ambassador of Children”
Natsagdorj,D, MD, Khamba Lama of Manba Datsan Traditional Medical and Training Center, president of “Children of Medicine Buddha Association”, has been appointed as the “Ambassador of Children” and promises to work the brighter future of the children and their rights today.
Declaration of the Rights of the Child was first endorsed in 1924 in Geneva, Switzerland. 25 years later, on 20th of November, 1959, United Nations General Assembly adopted it in extended form and since then such day is celebrated as “Universal Children’s Day”. Based on it, Convention on the Rights of the Child was adopted in 1989 and Mongolia joined it in 1990.
