Producer and film maker Benjamin Johns: This documentary film about Khamba Lama will introduce Mongolia to the world.

A movie producer from England, Benjamin Johns, massage therapist, professor and producer Konstantin Pavlidis, producer Gerry Vasbenter came to Mongolia last year to film documentary about Honored Medical Doctor, Khamba Lama Natsagdorj.D from Manba Datsan monastery. Benjamin Johns says that the documentary has been shortlisted at various festivals in United States and we talked to him while he was staying in Manba Datsan hospital. Benjamin Johns is well known for his works such as “Candy Bar Kid” which earned him awards in best short movie in 2008, “Traffic Warden” which won best short comedy from HD FEST festival.   –So what brings you back to Mongolia? Natsagdorj,D, MD, Khamba Lama of Manba Datsan Traditional Medical and Training Center, president of “Children of Medicine Buddha Association”, has been appointed as the “Ambassador of Children” and promises to work the brighter future of the children and their rights today. Declaration of the Rights of the Child was first endorsed in 1924 in Geneva, Switzerland. 25 years later, on 20th of November, 1959, United Nations General Assembly adopted it in extended form and since then such day is celebrated as “Universal Children’s Day”.
