Natsagdorj,D, MD, Khamba Lama of Manba Datsan Traditional Medical and Training Center, president of “Children of Medicine Buddha Association” says:
– It is with great honor to be appointed as one of the ambassadors to work for the benefits of young children and I’m grateful for it. I know that this duty comes with great responsibility and it is our mission to ensure our children grow up to be well educated individuals with high moral standards. On the other hand, there are lots of works needed to improve children’s welfare.
Lately, there have been many serious incidents involving violation of children’s rights and their safety. I’m deeply saddened by such events and I think we should shine more lights on children’s protection as well as ethics of our people. In today’s society, people are becoming more and more evil and don’t know much about loving one another. Therefore, we should work with not only kids, but with parents too. Protecting the rights of children is a statewide issue and it needs support from the government in terms of law enforcement. All the appointed ambassadors should report their work on this matter to the superiors and have their work evaluated annually, or every 4 months, so that we can come up with better ways to work in the coming years.
As Mongolians, it is our sole duty to care for our children and teach them righteous manners when they are young. The future of our children is dependent on all of us, raising them in righteous ways will only lead to brighter future of Mongolia.
